Cover art by Angus McKie for the Orbit edition of Perry Rhodan 20: The Thrall of Hypno by Clark Darlton. Reprinted in Spacecraft, 2000-2100 AD by Stewart Cowley. I think I also saw it in a book about the history of science fiction, but my attempts to track that down have been unsuccessful. I’ve included two high-quality details for use as desktop backgrounds. I kind of want to make a whole series of Angus McKie wallpapers, but I don’t know if the interest is there. I left the white specks in because they might be aircraft buzzing around the city, but they don’t show up in the scans of the Perry Rhodan book and I suspect they’re just errors in the reproduction.
The interest is there. Do it!
